Artist learned drawing to M. Zuhovickis.
He graduated Art Academy of Latvia, department of monumental painting (1988) with diploma work “Design for transportable circus” under guidance I. Zarins.
He was a manager to gallery of Art Academy (1988 – 1990), manager of gallery “Bastejs” (1990 – 1993).
Since 1994 he with family lived at Australia and learned at Technological Institute of Sydney.
R. Lapp took part at exhibitions since 1985.
