Stephen Dorsett, an artist known for his innovative use of materials and integration of environmental motifs in his creations, has showcased his work in exhibitions at distinguished galleries such as the Chauvet Gallery in Nashville, TN, the Kavanagh Gallery in St. Charles, IL, and the Barrett Art Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. His 2021 solo exhibition at the Louisville Photo Biennial highlighted a captivating series of landscapes crafted from repurposed consumer goods. Dorsett holds a B.S. in Studio Art from Murray State University, earned in 1999, and a Master's degree in Art Education from Eastern Kentucky University. For over fourteen years, he has imparted his artistic knowledge, teaching painting, photography, and drawing to high school students. Currently, he serves as a school counselor.
