A super bright, and color-filled painting by Nantucket based artist Sybil Goldsmith.
This work depicts young, attractive college students having refreshments on a porch, overlooking Nanatucket.
The work is house in a very high quality period frame, although there is some minor damage to the frame.
Goldsmith began painting at the age of six, and continued to paint throughout her life.
She was a fixture in the art scene in Nantucket, where she had a studio for many years.

Bold composition of two people on a porch by Majel McHugh Logan (American, 1916-1982). Two people sit facing each other on a porch, backlit by warm sun. Although she was a professional artist at the time, she nonetheless continued her studies at San Jose State University in the 1970s.
