About the Item
Fabulous mid-century probably 1940s or 50s oil on canvas board. It’s beautiful rendered clown holding a dove painted with a heavy impasto. It could possibly be Italian, but I’m really not sure. It is signed lower right, but I cannot. Decipher. The painting measures 24 inches high by 13 inches wide. The frame measures 26 and three-quarter inches high by 15 and three-quarter inches wide. It is in very good condition.
