Study for a Male figure with Turbant.
Interesting Oil painting characterized by a new Manneristic elegance and an elaborate movement. These elements collocate the composition in the dimension of the School of Bologna of the 18th century.
It is clear the similarity of this work with the productions of Nicola Bertuzzi, also known as "l'Anconitano" (1710-1777) and of Gaetano and Ubaldo Gandolfi.
In "Christ and the adulterer" by Gaetano and Ubaldo Gandolfi, now in Bologna (Collezione Trenta), we can find the same style of our painting.
