Victorian 19th-century portrait of a seated English Flower Seller.
This is a very pretty classic English Victorian Genre painting. The style and similar subjects were widely painted by many different English painters and this has a lot of influence with the work of William Mulready the famous English Victorian genre painter.
Though this piece is unsigned it is by the hand of a very talented artist. The frame is the original and is of a very high quality, which is also a clue to the piece being by a good painter, a poor quality painter would not have framed their painting in such an expensive frame.
The painting is in good, original condition and so is the frame.
This is a must for any lover of Victorian art.
