About the Item

“Oraguese” means “stormy” in French. I think of this piece as representative of emotional tumult as well as a physical storm. I created this piece during hurricane season, thinking of the tempests happening in the Atlantic. The sides of this piece are wood that's been sanded and finished with a clear wax, so the piece can be hung without a frame.
