About the Item
winter painting, Christmas, New Year, holiday gift, window, interior, historic house, winter day, plein air, small painting, American art
A small interior painting created from life in a historic estate museum during winter, just before Christmas.
"My attention was drawn to a flower standing on the old wooden windowsill," said Daria about this artwork. "Through the glass, one could see a yellow outbuilding and snow-covered trees. While painting, it felt as if time had stopped — as though the scene belonged not to the present day but to the late 19th century. The quiet atmosphere, the snow outside, and the preserved wooden window filled the space with a nostalgic charm of another era."
This painting would also make a wonderful Christmas or New Year gift — timeless, elegant, and filled with the quiet charm of winter.
Oil on canvas mounted on sturdy cardboard and set in a temporary mat.
For final display, a professional mat and wide frame are recommended to highlight the delicate color palette and give the work a museum-like presence.
The painting is located in the United States, ensuring fast delivery with no additional customs fees.
