About the Item
The idea for this work came to the artist when he, waiting for a taxi that was supposed to take him to the airport, decided to warm up in frosty weather with a cup of hot coffee. The painting consists of two planes. A table with a drunk cup of espresso, a glass of cold water - inside the room. Outside the window - a street of an old European city in chilly weather. The window glass is covered with dripping drops, which creates a kind of wavering image behind it. We see a street with fallen snow that has begun to melt. A taxi with a yellow sign is parked at the sidewalk. On the other side of the street - old houses with tiled roofs covered with snow, the arch of an old gate. On the glass - the inscription "Cafe" is depicted in a mirror image, as it is read from the outside.
The coloring of the painting is maintained in close silvery-ocher, olive-pearlescent shades, which conveys the state of a winter day well.
The painting is sold without a frame. The sides are not painted. This artwork can decorate a living room, study or business office.

Dmitry Evtushenko graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Surikov Institute and the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In art, the artist follows traditions multiplied by impressions from life. He never stops improving his skills and artistic language. Dmitry has participated in several dozen group and solo exhibitions in Russia and Germany. The artist's works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, etc. A number of portraits are in the collection of the A. A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
