About the Item
A cluster of red roses unfolds in full bloom — vivid, untamed, and irresistibly alive. Red Roses’ Temptation captures not only the beauty of flowers, but the emotional pull they hold: their bold presence, their fleeting perfection, their silent invitation to pause and feel.
Painted alla prima in an impressionistic style during a plein air session, this work reflects the immediacy of direct observation. The loose, expressive brushwork and vibrant palette convey the energy of a moment captured in natural light. Every stroke breathes — fresh, emotional, spontaneous.
The inspiration came from a quiet moment in nature, where the red roses seemed to glow with a life of their own against a calm, muted background. There was something magnetic in the contrast: the richness of the red petals against the subtle greens and pinks, the quiet wildness of the garden, and the way beauty can both comfort and seduce.
Tiny wildflowers woven into the composition add a gentle rhythm and balance, softening the intensity and creating a visual whisper among the bold blooms.
Note:
This piece is painted on high-quality linen canvas, not stretched, and will be shipped rolled. One of the photos shows a suggested way to frame the artwork — a clean and timeless presentation that enhances its organic elegance.
Elena Bulatova is a Munich-based painter working primarily in oil, often in the alla prima technique. Born in Moscow, Russia in 1981, she received early training in a children’s art school, laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to painting.
Her artistic practice is rooted in academic traditions, yet she continuously seeks freedom and individuality in her work. Bulatova often paints en plein air, working directly from life to capture the essence of a moment with immediacy and sensitivity. She is especially drawn to subjects found in her everyday surroundings—landscapes, people, portraits, and the human figure—exploring the natural beauty and quiet poetry of the visible world.
Over the past twenty years, Bulatova has developed her skills through a combination of self-directed study and mentorship with experienced artists. She has studied in diverse settings, including traditional icon painting in Moscow and the AktHof in Munich. Currently, she is enrolled as an external student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, deepening her engagement with classical technique and contemporary practice.
The gallery guarantees the uniqueness and high quality of this work of art, confirmed by a certificate of authenticity. By purchasing paintings by Elena Bulatova, you make a smart investment, as the price of her paintings is growing every year.

Elena Bulatova (1981) is a Russian artist living in Munich, Germany. After fifteen years of painting dedicatedly and hermetically - alternately self-taught and under the guidance of older painters - Elena Bulatova wishes to share her practice with the world. In her constant self-study, Bulatova has sought instruction from a variety of sources - from the Eastern Orthodox icon painting school in Moscow to the Academy of Fine arts in Munich. She is currently enrolled externally at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich to better understand the modern side of the art world. She believes that the true value of art lies in the meditative process that goes into creating such a work and in the years of mastery that a person can undertake and overcome to become a master in any field. The themes of her work are: nature, animals and authentic human beauty.
