About the Item

Subject : Bouquet de Lilas (Title - FR) / In this unique work of oil painting, the artist, who is an adept of contemporary realism and fiction, enjoy painting Interiors spaces and still-lifes. A peaceful moment to spend between indoors and outdoors, at home or with friends. This still life captures the essence of inner elegance. In the center is a blue vase containing a bouquet of lilacs, in shades of purple and pink. The green leaves contrast with the flowers, adding a lively dimension to the work. Placed on a pink tablecloth that softens the composition, the vase becomes the focal point of this luminous interior. The geometric lines of the window and the colorful painting in the background lend a modernity to this work of art, while the natural light creates a subtle play of shadows. The balance between organic elements and geometrical forms emphasizes a contemporary style. This work is a hymn to color and simplicity, transforming a familiar scene into a captivating visual spectacle. Work : Original Oil Painting, Handmade artwork, Unique Work. He has exhibited regularly in France and abroad. Since his early age Gabriel Riesnert has been fascinated by the beauty of plant forms and urban architectural lines. His passion pushes him to a practice of painting and drawing between photographic inspiration and urban realism. The artist's consideration of painting is essentially turned to a representation of what we see and perceive of these forms, whether they provide a fiction or an impression of beauty, of serenity. Beyond the visual, the creation of a work for Gabriel Riesnert is an interpretive experience and a journey intimately linked to space and time. His paintings often represent spaces and forms that are inspired by the tradition of the natural and architectural landscape. By enlarging details and creating a play of colors and shadows, the painter draws up a quest for the possible and a virgin path in the viewer's eye. Gabriel Riesnert has exhibited in galleries in Paris, Brussels and south of France.

"Lilacs, " Still-Life Oil Painting
By John C. Traynor
Located in Westport, CT
This still life oil painting by John Traynor captures a scene of a large bouquet of purple and pink lilacs in a colorful, porcelain vase. It sits on an off-white fabric next to a lemon which is half peeled, the peel spiraling off the edge of the table on which it sits. The wall behind the bouquet of flowers is a warm, earthy sienna. The painting is signed by the artist along the lower right-hand edge of the canvas. It is 20" x 24", and 27" x 31" framed. The frame is an ornate metal-leaf frame with a linen liner. It is wired and ready to hang. Professionally framed in classic, antiqued, closed corner frame. Frame is metal leaf gold. John C. Traynor's painting style is reminiscent of some 19th century painters and the Dutch Masters. He uses his knowledge of light and color to create a certain mood in each of his works. The creation of atmosphere is an important element in Traynor's paintings. Painting outdoors, on location, is a prime source of inspiration and ideas for his landscapes. John travels extensively, painting the landscapes around him. John was born in 1961 and spent his early years in Chester and Mendham, New Jersey. His art studies began at Delbarton School in Morristown, New Jersey, and from there he furthered his education at Paier College of Art in New Haven, Connecticut. He studied figure painting at the Art Students League of New York, as a merit scholar, with Frank Mason. Traynor continued his studies in Vermont with Mr. Mason on landscape painting, drawing with Carroll N. Jones Jr. of Stowe, Vermont and sculpture with Brother Jerome Cox...
