About the Item
This dynamic seascape celebrates the raw power and beauty
of nature in energetic detail, showcasing robust, textured waves crashing
against the rugged, reddish-brown rocks of the Maine coast. The motion of
the water forms a striking white foam that contrasts with the darker blue
and gray hues of the ocean. This interplay of colors and textures brings a
dramatic and engaging mood to the piece.
Inspired by the contrast between the rich red rocks and the gray blue
ocean, as well as the refreshing splash of the waves, the artist has
blended realism with impressionistic brushwork, conveying a sense of
movement and invigorating energy. The scene is visually engaging and
emotionally evocative, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the sheer

This original painting is created in oil on gallery wrapped linen, on 1 1/2
inch deep stretchers. The edges are hand painted, providing a finished
