Katie Murrell is an abstract painter based in Surrey, UK, who explores the dynamic interplay of colour and texture in her paintings. Her pieces depict bustling crowds and abstract forms through Intricate layering and expressive strokes. Her bold, rhythmic compositions reflect the exploration of human connection, movement, and the energy of collective spaces.
Murrell explores modern-day life, finding beauty in the everyday hustle and bustle, such as the mundane commute or in the more exciting life events such as marathons, concerts, festivals and sporting matches.
Drawing inspiration from urban landscapes and social dynamics, the artist’s work is a study in the contrasts - between chaos and order, individuality and community.

Danielle Maillet-Vila is a French artist born in 1945 who lives and works in Barbizon, France. She first moved into fashion industry and started her own business at just 22 years old while continuing to paint. In 1979, the artist's creative flame was rekindled.
