Alfred Collin (1880-1944).
Alfred Collin was a Swedish impressionist landscape and marine painter. Like many of his Scandinavian contemporaries he travelled to France where he became heavily influenced by the work of the Impressionsists. This oil painting is of the clipper ship The Abraham Rydberg - a Swedish Naval training ship.
