I’m Anastassia from Germany and I’m thrilled to share my passion for painting with you and to offer a glimpse into the inspiration and meaning behind my artworks. As a devoted student of Eckhart Tolle, I have found great wisdom and insight in his teachings on mindfulness and spirituality. In my paintings, I aim to convey the beauty and interconnectedness of the natural world, particularly through the symbolism of flowers. Using a technique influenced by abstract expressionism and modern art, I create textured and three-dimensional abstract paintings using a variety of mixed media. I use undiluted acrylic paint, ink, gel medium, and structure paste to build up layers of color and texture, often incorporating transparent paint to enhance the ethereal qualities of nature. My love of flowers is evident in many of my artworks, as I use spatulas, tubes for writing, and fruit knives to create intricate and delicate floral motifs. Through these meditative and expressive techniques, I seek to capture the essence of the natural world and invite viewers to immerse themselves in a colorful and serene world of impasto colors and floral magic. Whether you are a seasoned collector or a first-time buyer, I hope that my paintings will bring joy, inspiration, and a deeper connection to the beauty and interconnectedness of the world around us. By Mary Chaplin
Located in Deddington, GB
Individual canvas size: H:70 cm x W:70 cm x D:2cm
Complete Size of Diptych: H:70 cm x W:140 cm x D:2cm
Mary Chaplin Summer feeling in blue, floral diptych The wind blows in Mary Chaplin’s garden and brings inspiration to the artist to create this colorful and happy diptych!. Colours and insects inhabit the garden and then in the creative mind of the artist, the flowers become butterflies of colours. Mary Chaplin doesn't just want to paint flowers, the artist thinks nature is too perfect to be copied. This is why the artist pushes the boundaries of figurative representation and paints the wind, the buzz of insects and the smells of flowers and earth. You are not buying an object, a painting, but a little piece of Nature. Poppies, wind, perfumes, birdsong and insects humming: Life!
Mary Chaplin artist's works available to buy original abstract artworks for sale online with Wychwood Art and in their Deddington Art Gallery. Mary Chaplin is a French artist and lives and works in Cany-Barville, Nomandy. In a picturesque market town near the famous Etretat, birth place of Impressionism. Mary Chaplin for more than twenty years has worked as a self-taught professional artist, always inspired by nature and by the varying effects of light. Mary Chaplin is an AKOUN rated artist. She started her career by painting figurative scenes she saw around her in the French countryside. Her first artworks were representations of landscapes, gardens, forests, rivers or lakes, which allowed her to explore different techniques, including pastel, oil, acrylic and watercolor. However, both her life and career reached a turning point in 2005 when she witnessed the ‘holy light...
