Condition: As is normal with unframed works on paper there are some minor old creases or paper edge curls/ tears - all of which should be covered over or smoothed out once framed; generally very good and sound.
Provenance: as with all the works we have by this artist, it has come from the artists estate in France.
Description: This expansive pastel landscape by Anne Marie Migette Perard captures the serene beauty of a coastal village perched high above the sea, rendered with delicate strokes and subtle, tonal colour. A winding shoreline curves beneath the steep cliffs, while a cluster of buildings—complete with a central church and terracotta rooftops—sits nestled among pine trees and rolling hills.
Though the precise location is unknown, the palette and architectural hints evoke southern France, northern Spain, or Italy's Ligurian coast, where medieval hilltop villages often overlook the sea in a patchwork of olive green, dusty ochre, and slate blue.
