Condition: As is normal with unframed works on paper there are some minor old creases or paper edge curls/ tears - all of which should be covered over or smoothed out once framed; generally very good and sound.
Provenance: as with all the works we have by this artist, it has come from the artists estate in France.
Description: In this warm and intimate pastel study, Anne Marie Migette Perard presents the Church of Saint Agathe in Loueygoun, a quiet corner of the French countryside imbued with historic charm. The ochre-toned church with its red-tiled roof and tall stone bell tower stands nestled among soft, leafy trees, its serene form contrasted by the expressive lines of surrounding foliage.
