Up for sale is an original oil painting on canvas by Listed Italian Artist Araldo Ariano (XX century). The painting depicts a picturesque scene set in a historic European town, characterized by its architectural elements and tranquil atmosphere.
In the foreground, a group of people, dressed in traditional attire, gathers near the water's edge.
Dominating the middle ground is a stone bridge with an arch, spanning a calm body of water. The bridge is adorned with a tattered flag and some red drapery. People can be seen standing on the bridge, looking down at the water, or engaging with each other.
The background features a large, historic building with several windows and an arched entrance.
Signed in the lower right corner, and dated '69. Artist's label on verso.
