Very fine oil painting by Arthur Terry Blamires (b.1930) depicting this magnificent and majestic Cumbrian landscape. The painting is signed and dated as well.
From Batley in Yorkshire Arthur Terry Blamires was a teacher of Geography before becoming a full time artist in 1984. He painted scenes from the English Lake District and from Yorkshire. He painted in oils with a style that depicted scenes accurately and factually.
