About the Item
Born in the San Si Providence of China, Jang Jin Joong, known as his artist’s name Barnes, fell in love with art since he was a child. His passion for art continued into his pursuit of higher education for painting as he went to Joong Wang Art School. Through his rigorous training and practice of his technique and skill, he was eventually accepted to the Chinese International Art Exhibition. As a specialist of impressionistic landscape paintings, he captures depth and dimension of scenery through his deep understanding of both color and light. For a fresh change of direction, he also sometimes ventures outside of landscapes and paints people in seascapes. Beyond his passion as an artist, Barnes is both a loving husband and father. In his free time, he spends every minute he can creating memories with his family along with appreciating the nature around him.
