St. Ives Harbour is an Original painting by Carolyn Carter of one of her favourite places. Framed in White painted Wood with mount and glass. Carolyn really enjoys sketching trips and sitting in beautiful places with a sketchbook and paints in hand and often visits Cornwall for inspiration! Her paintings are rich in colour and light, always optimistic and these are particularly summery. A favourite place for many people (including most artists) this scene will bring the memory of it right into your home.
Carolyn Carter has lived and worked in and around the beautiful city of Bath for 17 years, since her degree in Illustration. Graduating in 2000, she has since worked as an in-house artist for two greetings card publishers. Alongside this Carolyn Carter has undertaken group and solo exhibitions of her originals as well as exhibiting in Galleries and completing many individual commissions. Carolyn Carter works in a wide variety of media, her watercolour and acrylic paintings are rich in colour and light, often inspired by the countryside and wildlife around her, or fables and narratives that have captured her imagination. Carolyn Carter's recent bird paintings have explored the fascinating character of the creatures, their beauty and the significance of song and flight as metaphors for freedom.

Trevor Waugh was born in 1952 and grew up in London available with Wychwood Art. Trevor studied at The Slade School of Fine Art from 1970 -1974 (BA) under the guidance of Sir William Coldstream, Professor of The Slade at the time, Patrick George, Philip Sutton, David Hockney, Euan Uglow and Bernard Cohen. During his time at The Slade he was invited by Sir William Coldstream and Patrick George to exhibit alongside them at The Collegiate Theatre at University College, London, 1971. He was also a contributor to The Young Contemporaries Exhibition at The Royal Academy 1972.
