This richly painted landscape captures a serene, tree-filled park with distant Rocky Mountain peaks, rendered in a dynamic blend of green, gold, blue, and earthy browns. His brushwork conveys both depth and atmosphere, evoking the fresh air and quiet grandeur of Colorado’s natural landscapes. This painting is an excellent example of Bunnell’s mature style and a testament to his legacy as one of the region’s most influential artists. The painting is professionally framed in a custom archival frame and is in good vintage condition. A full condition report is available upon request. About the Artist: Charles Ragland Bunnell (1897–1968) Charles Ragland Bunnell was a pivotal figure in the development of modernist art in the American Southwest. Born in Kansas and based in Colorado Springs, Bunnell’s long career spanned landscape painting, abstraction, and spiritual modernism. He studied under prominent American artists such as Birger Sandzén, Ernest Lawson, and Boardman Robinson, whose influences are evident in his expressive use of color and textured brushwork.
