Here for your consideration is a light filled oil on canvas painting by the American artist, David Clark. The meandering path, apple blossoms. the first sign of Spring. A strong confident work with vibrant colors. Signed lower right and dated 1915. Unlined canvas. Mild stretcher bar wear. Well framed. 0verall in very good original condition.
David Clark, New York (ca. 1870 - 1916) “Apple Blossom Tine”. Provenance: From the collection of Edward P. Bentley, Art Researcher and Historian, Greenville, Michigan. Clark is noted as having studied at the Art Students League in New York City with George DeForest Brush. Apparently, the artist was quite short lived with his known works completed and dated between 1895-1916. His themes were landscapes of New York, New Hampshire and Connecticut. 18" by 22 inches canvas size. Overall framed in beautiful gold leaf reproduction frame 23 by 27 inches.

Here for your consideration is a very well executed original oil on board painting by the American artist, George A. Traver. Signed lower right. Signed and titled verso. National Academy of Design exhibition label verso. (1923) Condition is very good; no issues. The painting done in an impressionist style depicting a mother and her child picking wild flowers in a field. A beautiful variety of greens and blues dominate the composition. The figures are painted with a soft white palette are equally well done. The painting has recently been professionally cleaned.
