About the Item
The painting was painted from life early in the morning in Venice. It depicts a view from the Zattere embankment of the Giudecca Canal and the island of the same name. In the distance, against the backdrop of a lilac-pink dawn sky, we see the silhouettes of buildings. The large Redentore Cathedral, with its dome and tower, a work by the architect Andrea Palladio, stands out among them. On the distant embankment, lanterns burn in a neat row, not yet extinguished. A motorboat sails along. On the near shore, the stone pavement of the embankment, on which the artist sits, the steps of a bridge over an invisible canal, and the façade of the cathedral are visible. A significant portion of the bay is occupied by the silhouettes of piers and lanterns.
The painting is painted in a style similar to Impressionism and conveys the joyful mood of a dawning day in Venice.
The artwork is sold without a frame. The sides are unpainted. It would make a wonderful gift or decorate a living room, dining room, or study.

The artist's works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, etc. A number of portraits are in the collection of the A. A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
