About the Item
The painting depicts the Adriatic coast on the island of Lido near Venice. The artist decided to paint this motif during a morning walk along the winter beach, when there are not only no vacationers, but also random passers-by are rare. Most of the canvas is occupied by coastal sand, strewn with shells, stones, and dry seaweed. Human footprints are visible on the sand. The main "character" of the painting is a snag. Part of the tree, which was actually on the beach and was captured by the artist with documentary accuracy, so amazed was it by its bizarre surreal appearance. In the distance is the sea. Closer to the shore is foamy surf. And the further to the horizon, the more its colors thicken right up to the dark strip of sky at the very top.
The painting is without a frame. The sides are not painted. The painting can decorate the interior of a living room or an office.

Dmitry Evtushenko graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Surikov Institute and the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In art, the artist follows traditions multiplied by impressions from life. He never stops improving his skills and artistic language. Dmitry has participated in several dozen group and solo exhibitions in Russia and Germany. The artist's works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, etc. A number of portraits are in the collection of the A. A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
