François Gueho was a French painter of the twentieth century of Breton origin and painted mainly marines around Quiberon, Concarneau and the forest of Paimpont. His work is soft and relaxing with pastel colour tones.
Gueho was an academic painter and part of the realist movement.

He was a painter of landscapes and pastels.
He studied under Charles Beauverie in Paris. In 1902 he became a member of the highly prestigious ‘Salon des Artistes Francais’ where he received an honourable mention in 1907.
He also exhibited at the ‘Salon des Independants’.
