Description:
This delicate impressionist piece captures a quiet moment on the beach, where a man and woman walk side by side across wet sand beneath a wide, painterly sky. The figures, simply rendered with expressive brushstrokes, suggest traditional coastal life—perhaps a fisherman and a fishmonger or a pair of beachcombers at low tide. The woman carries a basket and wears a headscarf and blue-grey dress, while the man, in ochre tones, dons a broad cap and carries a small bundle.
