Idyllic landscape of a path winding through a field of wheat, punctuated by wildflowers and tall verdant trees, by Monterey, California artist Genevieve Rogers (American, 1904-1984). A path meanders away from the viewer, through the tall wheat field. There are large evergreen trees at the far edge of the field (possible Monterey Cypress). This piece demonstrates the artist's care and attention to detail in the wheat and the leaves.
