"Ventura Fwy Heading West" depicts the terrain as one
travels through the mountains and hills of the valley towards the Pacific
Ocean. This scene captures a moment in time of an autumn day in Los Angeles.
The gestural freedom is juxtaposed against areas of intricate detailed
passages. As a formal element, rhythmic pattern brings structural
