About the Item

The canvas depicts the river Seine in the spring period. The work is dominated by delicate, light shades - blue, pinkish, green and golden. The artist conveys the movement of water, the reflection of the sky and the awakening nature. In the foreground one can see trees with young foliage, their branches leaning towards the water. In the distance one can see the haze of the horizon and the reflection of clouds in the river. The painting is filled with air, sunlight and a sense of lightness, which is characteristic of Impressionism.
