A wonderful oil on panel by Jack Griffin. Jack was an English Impressionist painter who mostly painted in the Southern part of the UK. He also travelled to Holland and Northern France where he painted many very appealing landscapes, river scenes and seascapes. Due to his moving around he found painting on panels easier than canvas which gave his work a great surface. On occasion he would paint with a palette knife which also gace his work an interesting feel.
