A beautiful oil on canvas painting by the French artist, Jack Prudnik. Prudnik was an American painter known for his colorful cityscapes depicting the times of his generation. This painting is a wonderful example of his work from the prime of his career depicting Porte Saint-Denis. Here you see pedestrians, flowers, and cars along the street. People are scattered throughout with breathtaking colors. The details are magnificent as Prudnik captures the architecture of Paris so beautifully; you can feel the energy of the day and the excitement. The painting comes displayed in original wood carved frame from the period with hanging wire and is signed lower left.
