Artist Biography: Felix Defournoy was born on October 23, 1952, in Petion-Ville, Haiti. He studied art at the Foyer des Art Plastiques. "Heirs to Indigenist realism, Defournoy excludes all forms of idealism to express the truth alone," says Gerald Alexis in his book "Peintres Haitiens."
