A great painting from the second half of the 18th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting a splendid Italian landscape in Arcadian style, a pastoral scene set in the Roman countryside. This painting is attributed to Johan Matiaz Wuerzer (1760-1838), a German master celebrated for his lively animal compositions.
