About the Item
This work depicts a serene landscape of the Tablas de Daimiel, (Ciudad Real, Spain) a unique and UNESCO protected wetland, known for being an important passage point for migratory birds. The painting captures the lyrical and tranquil essence of the place, where silence is only interrupted by the gentle murmur of nature: the song of birds, the whisper of the wind and the flow of water.
The scene is viewed from a wooden overpass that culminates in a lookout, inviting the viewer to contemplate the landscape from a privileged angle. The color palette is distinctive, with a golden light bathing the scene, bringing warmth and enhancing the cozy atmosphere of the surroundings.
The tones used radiate light and serenity, making the landscape an image of peace and refuge. The golden reflections in the water intensify the sense of calm, while the subtle brushstrokes convey an intimate connection with nature. The work invites reflection and to let oneself be enveloped by the natural beauty of the Tablas de Daimiel.
