Authenticity confirmed in writing
Karl Heinisch was the son of a clerk. On 4 May 1870, he enrolled at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. From 1879 to 1913, he was represented almost every year at the Munich annual exhibitions with motifs from Upper Bavaria and Lake Constance. The work of this plein air painter can be stylistically attributed to the Munich School and Wilhelm von Diez.
