A vibrant, Futurist-derived view of Venice's Grand Canal with a row of gondolas in the foreground and a view beyond to the Rialto Bridge under the refracted rays of sunset.
Born in Chiusa in Northern Italy, Karl Gasser first attended the Art School of Bressanone (1963-7). He later studied with Conrad Bergmann at Düsseldorf's Academy of Fine Arts before opening a studio in New York in 1986. Karl Gasser exhibited internationally with success and was the recipient of numerous prizes and juried awards.

Karl Gasser
