Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Oehmig now resides in Brunswick, Maine. He holds a B.A. in Studio Art and Art History from Principia College, Elsah, Illinois, as well as an M.F.A. with Distinction in Fine Art from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York.
Oehmig's works are infused with light and color, and his painterly style is well suited to capturing the natural landscape throughout Maine, along the Eastern seaboard, and the French and Italian countryside.
