About the Item
The classical Decameron, written in the 14th century by Giovanni Boccaccio, tells the story of ten young people who flee the plague-ravaged city of Florence for a remote countryside villa.
This interpretation of Boccaccio is not a direct adaptation of the book. Instead, it imagines a modern screen version—a non-existent film—by painting random scenes from it. This approach reflects how we often consume information today: quickly, in fragments, and driven by emotion.
The cinematic format of this series mirrors the way we now absorb stories and information.

Due to the large size of the work and in order to reduce shipping costs, we recommend shipping it rolled in a tube, with the canvas removed from the stretcher bars. The wooden stretcher parts will be packed and shipped together with the artwork for easy re-stretching upon arrival.
