Born in Peru, Mario Agostinelli studied in Argentina, Brazil, France and Italy. Over the course of a long career, he exhibited widely and with success including at the Allied Artists of America, the National Academy of Design, the Butler Institute of Art, the California Academy of Fine Arts, Knickerbocker Artists and, in the 1970s, at New York's Berlin Gallery.
