Margaret G. Still originally grew up in Manila, Philippines, has lived in Los Angeles, New York City
Memphis, and made Saugerties Village her home in 2011. Traveling through the American South is prevalent in her work; which use nostalgic photography of her road trips as reference.
Margaret Still studied with William Brice and Richard Diebenkorn who inspired her observational studies. Still has exhibited in Saugerties, Green Kill, Kingston, and Woodstock. She received WAAM’s Mary Wilson Award in Landscape Painting in 2022. She has also shown in juried exhibits in New York State.
