A wonderful impressionist scene depicting a winding rural road meandering through a lush, verdant valley framed by dense foliage and a dramatic mountain backdrop. The painting has been well presented in a decorative gilt effect frame with sgraffito and areas of hatching. Signed ' Marie Reol' to the lower left. Titled to the reverse. On canvas on stretchers.
