About the artist:
As a Rochester Institute of Technology Alumni (College of Imaging Arts
Sciences, Graphic Design / Painting Bachelor of Fine Arts 1972) Mark has always been an artist at heart.
Mark's Adirondack art and Fingerlakes art is inspired primarily by his love for those regions. Time spent on his grandfather's farm in Naples, NY sparked his love for the Finger Lakes gorgeous scenery and its distinguishing landmarks.
The first trip to the Adirondack region was all it took for Mark to become equally captivated with the beauty and majesty of the mountains, lakes, and unsurpassed wild life scenes.
Mark routinely spends time taking photographs year round of the Upstate New York region varying from the snowy mountains of Keene Valley, to the Fall foliage of Letchworth State Park. With an unparalled eye for beauty, Mark has been able to successfully capture scenes from all over New York State. I hope you enjoy the images I have portrayed.
