The artist merges the genres of painting: he is a history, landscape, portrait and still life painter. A naturalist of the human soul that he dissects and examines with his brush. If the painter observes his fellow human beings closely, he must withdraw from the world to create in solitude. Concentration is the key to his art. Moreno Pincas
Moreno Pincas was born in Bulgaria in 1936 and immigrated to Israel in 1949. He participated in exhibitions in Paris, Buenos Aires, Milan and Tel Aviv. Moreno’s creative work has a considerable literary element derived from various sources. His heroes, covered with loneliness and spiritual emptiness, find themselves in enigmatic social situations. Their features are often handled in great detail whether they are aged, expressive or unattractive.
