This original and unique landscape is one of a pair that is priced individually. They depict a rural cottage by a stream and one of a woodland scene and are by the artist O. J. Clark, English School. Each are signed lower right, with the cottage scene dated ’85 and are over 100 years old.
Clark was an English Landscape painter during the 19th century who specialised in woodland and rural scenes. He travelled throughout England and Scotland earning a living by painting commissions. These paintings are oil-on-canvas and are presented in a matching pair of magnificent period frames.
