Blending photorealism and surrealism, Oleg achieves a signature style of his own. The beauty of nature bursts off the canvas with vibrant life. Oleg Turchin is a Moldovan artist, born in 1964. He studied at the Sciusev children’s art school under the direction of V.B. Bulba. In 1981 he began his studies at the College of Fine Arts (I.E. Repin) with S. S. Babjuk and Proniaev. Later he studied fine arts at the Institute of Fine Arts under the direction of painting teachers I.I. Serbinov and V.I. Kazakov.
Many of his artworks are in private collections in the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Turkey (Bora Collection), Ukraine, Greece, Russia, and the Republic of Moldova.

Oleg Turchin
Oleg Turchin was born on 29 June 1964 in Kishinev, Moldova, the USSR. Turchin is a talented artist. According to Turchin, he became interested in drawing and painting in childhood. After graduating from children’s art school, in 1981, he entered the art school named after Shchusev. Then, he studied at the Art Institute of Ilya Repin. Turchin graduated from the Institute of Arts, Faculty of Painting in 1997. The genres of painting, in which Turkin works vary from realism to surrealism, landscapes, genre scenes, portraits and still life. Working with oil, the artist achieves a striking photographic clarity and sharpness.
