Description:
This delightful oil painting, beautifully framed in an ornate golden frame, captures the tranquil charm of the Scottish Highlands. A group of cattle peacefully graze and wade in the calm waters of a gently flowing river, surrounded by a lush, vibrant landscape. Rolling hills in warm hues and distant mist-shrouded peaks create a breathtaking backdrop, while patches of purple heather and golden wildflowers add splashes of color that enhance the composition's depth and liveliness. The soft, radiant light filtering through the fluffy clouds in the sky brings the entire scene to life, offering a sense of harmony and connection to nature. A quintessential pastoral masterpiece, this painting is a serene addition to any collection.

Prudence Turner
Prudence Turner was born on the 15th of March 1930 in India and lived in London. She developed a gift for painting at a very early age, with her first recognition being at the age of four when she competed in a national competition in the 11 to 14 age group. Although mainly self-taught, she lived and studied in many countries, including Egypt, India and France. Her talent covers a wide field, including portraits, abstract and landscape, both factual and fantasy. It is mainly her English and Scottish landscapes for which she is most famous.
