Modern Impressionist Oil Painting of Water Lilies in a Lily Pond, a large bright Oil on Canvas with a nod to Monet's Water Lilies at Giverny. This is a large Oil Painting on Canvas, mounted on stretchers and is unframed. It is currently hanging in a landing at the top of a set of stairs, it is a huge statement piece and would be great for an Interior Design project. It was painted as a series of studies and back up pieces for a commission from a large stately home in England. One of the commissions featured the Lady of the Manor by her Water Lily pond, the circles are droplets of water from the Cherub Fountain. One of the features of this painting is the depth of colour and the layers of texture on the oil paint.
