Ricardo Mulero works as a designer and painter in Hudson, NY. In his exhibition design work, Ricardo has synthesized powerful narratives into relevant immersive experiences for history museums, such as the National September 11 Memorial Museum in New York City and the Field Museum in Chicago. His training in drawing and painting began at a young age under the supervision of Spanish painter, Don Luis Bouzà, in Caguas, Puerto Rico. In the spring of 2014, while teaching interior design at Parsons School of Design, he enrolled in an oil painting class -- which rekindled a new chapter in his painting. Since then, Ricardo has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions in Puerto Rico and New York City, including Peter Madero Gallery, Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center, Ateneo Puertorriqueño, in San Juan, PR, Catskill, NY (at CREATE Council on the Arts), Taller Boricua in New York City, and FIPAP (Fire Island Pines Arts Project) Biennial. Ricardo Mulero continues to benefit from art coaching at Parsons and the New York Academy of Art in his evolution as an artist.
