Adopting a voyeuristic approach, Gower skilfully captures the fleeting moments of strangers’ daily activities.

Tower Bridge Ripples was inspired by a late afternoon trip to Bermondsey. From there Tower Bridge looked hazy in contrast to the bright sparkling light on The Thames. The painting was created using textured acrylic medium. Oil paint was then applied in layers to define and illuminate the image.
